Susan Hughes, 84, of Bristol, passed away on the morning of July 28 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born in London, England on April 27, 1932, she was the daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Walker) Drysdale. Wife of the late James E. Hughes, well known artist and photojournalist, she ran an art gallery in New Harbor for many years.
