Tanya M. Swain, 31, of Bangor, died May 19 at her home.
She was born in Damariscotta on Sept. 12, 1974, a daughter of Howard Jr. and Elizabeth (Alden) Swain.
She attended schools in Rockland. She was employed by Marketing Unlimited in Brewer.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and nieces.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Howard P. Swain, Sr.
She is survived by her companion, Norman Bolden of Bangor; daughter, Heaven Elizabeth Bolden of Bangor; stepmother, Brenda Swain of Woolwich; stepfather, Wayne Alden of Cushing; brothers, Joseph Swain of Dresden, and William Adkins of Bath; sister, Jessica Merrill of West Bath; stepsister, Amanda Coulter of Woolwich; grandmother, Hazel Swain of Wiscasset; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 12-2 p.m., Thurs., May 25 at Mayo, Curtis & Hill Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
