Theresa Irene Farmer, 47, of Trevett, died unexpectedly Dec. 19, 2014, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1967 in Greenfield, Mass. to Kenneth E. Brown and Diana M. Cote. Theresa grew up in Greenfield, Mass. where she attended local public schools.
Theresa and her husband Terence Farmer were residents of Boothbay Harbor since 1997 and moved to Barter’s Island in 2012. She was a popular longtime employee at the Greenleaf Inn and Admirals Quarters, a Boothbay Harbor bed-and-breakfast, and at area retail establishments including the Boothbay Rite-Aid.
Theresa was predeceased by her parents; husband, Terence; sisters, Michelle O’Brien and Lindsay Olson; and brother, Eric Brown.
She is survived by stepson, Timothy Farmer of Northfield, Mass.; stepdaughter, Megan Farmer of Waltham, Mass.; sisters, Sharon Brown of Conway, Mass., Tammy Wydra of Gastonia, N.C., Jodi Perkins of Wardsboro, Vt., and Deanna Cummings of Clearwater, Fla.; brothers, Tony Brown Sr. of Mineral, Va., Andy Brown of Bumpass, Va., Taz Lee of Gastonia, N.C.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews; and a great-grand-nephew.
A memorial service to celebrate Theresa’s life is planned for May 2015.
