Wilhelm (Willie) A. Lichtenberg, 84, formerly of Greenwich, Conn., passed away Jan. 23. He was born in Lemgo Lippe, Germany. A master carpenter by trade, Willie worked with a variety of construction development firms throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut. He culminated his career as Vice President of Construction with R.D. Scinto, Inc. of Shelton, Conn.
He is survived by his wife, Luise; their five children, Anna Lichtenberg of Phoenix, Ariz., Erika Birdsell of Fairfield, Conn., Lore Lichtenberg of Shelton, Conn., Luise Lichtenberg of New Harbor, and Gisela and William Zboray of Readsboro, Vt.; and six grandchildren, Kristy Birdsell, Kelly Birdsell, William Zboray III, Valeska Vaughan, Jesse Zboray and Andrew Zboray.
Friends may call 4-6 p.m., Mon., Feb. 2 in the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton, Conn. Burial will be private.
