William Reynolds Weare II, of Boothbay, beloved husband and father, passed away Dec. 28 at the Veterans Hospital with family members at his side.
Bill was born Feb. 9, 1943, the son of William and Dorothea Weare, of Longmeadow, Mass.
He attended local schools in Longmeadow and attended college in Boston, Mass. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army and was in the Vietnam War.
Bill worked for many years as an arborist and in his later years was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; children, Todd and wife Tara of Agawam, Mass., Bill and wife Crystal of Encinitas, Cal., and Jessica and husband Mike of Longmeadow, Mass.; and six grandchildren.
At his request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A special celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
