To the Editor:
I am writing to strongly endorse Sheridan Bond for Lincoln County Commissioner from District 3. As a long time member of the County Budget Committee, a member of the County Planning Commission and someone who has been active in County EMA activities, I have been in a position to observe Sheridan in action.
Sheridan has a proven track record as a commissioner over the last several years. He has helped guide county government through necessary changes such as upgrading the County Communication Center into a state of the art system, upgrading and modernizing our existing recycling program, establishing the county administrator position and the hiring of the right candidate for the job, overseeing the organization of the first regional county jail system and the construction of the new jail and the modernization of county EMA service to comply with Homeland Security mandates.
Sheridan has proven to be a major contributor to the stable operations of Lincoln County and, in my opinion, he deserves another term as County Commissioner.
