To the Editor:
On behalf of the 1970 MVHS Class B Boys State Championship baseball team, we would like to express our thanks to Matt Lash, Athletic Director, for the recent recognition ceremony at Medomak Valley’s baseball field.
It was heartwarming for me to get together with the “boys” and reminisce about our past success and catch up with their activities over the past 40 years.
Hard work and determination by our talented players, along with assistant coach Lou Cook, made it possible to achieve our successful seasons. The added support of family, fans, local businesses and the press was also a contributing factor.
May Panther Pride continue for MVHS.
