Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 214 calls for service for the period of Sept. 17-24. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,901 calls for service.
Sept. 17, Jonathan E. McGraw, 40, of Newcastle, was issued a summons for assault, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy 1st Class Brian Collamore.
Sept. 18, Timothy J. Peaslee Sr., 26, of Whitefield, was issued a summons for operating with a suspended registration, on Grand Army Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Sept. 18, Nathaniel J. Betts, 21, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Route 1, Wiscasset, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.
Sept. 17, Heather L. Brewer, 29, of Boothbay Harbor, was arrested on a probation violation, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy Aaron Mortensen.
Sept. 18, Jeremiah E. Lucas, 22, of Edgecomb, was arrested on two Lincoln County warrants for failure to appear, on River Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Caleb Fortin.
Sept. 18, Melanie A. Ashton, 43, of Wiscasset, was arrested for domestic violence assault and violating condition of release, on Lowelltown Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Andrew Miner, who was assisted by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Sept. 18, Wayne L. Wright Jr., 32, of Wiscasset, was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear/failure to pay fines, at the Lincoln County Courthouse, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy Mortensen.
Sept. 21, Caroline R. Hyson, 33, of South Bristol, was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, by Deputy Colby.
Sept. 22, Michael E. Hilgendorf, 69, of Boothbay, was arrested for operating under the influence and violation of a protective order, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Poirier.
Sept. 22, Adrianna L. L’Heureux, 23, of Boothbay, was arrested on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for failure to appear, on Hendricks Hill Road, Southport Island, by Deputy David Bellows.
On Sept. 19, an accident occurred on Academy Hill in Newcastle involving Ned Steinberger, 70, of Nobleboro. The windshield of Steinberger’s 2018 Toyota Prius was struck by an unknown object from the bridge overhead, shattering it. When he pulled over and exited, the windshield fell apart, making a hole. The object was not found. Deputy Sean Pfahler was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 20, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Wiscasset involving Paul N. Stuart, 56, of Thomaston, and Michael G. Mason, 39, of Richmond. Both vehicles were parked legally. When Mason backed his 2010 Toyota Tacoma out of a parking space, the rear passenger corner of his vehicle struck the front passenger corner of Stuart’s 2017 Nissan Altima. Deputy Bellows was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 21, an accident occurred on Bath Road in Wiscasset involving David Adams, 66, of Newtonville, Mass. Adams’ unoccupied 2017 Subaru Forester was parked legally when an unknown vehicle struck the front driver’s corner of his vehicle and left the scene. Deputy Bellows was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 21, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Bernard B. Anderson, 31, of Jefferson. Anderson was operating his 2008 Honda Pilot southbound when he struck a deer, which was crossing the roadway from east to west, causing disabling damage to the front of his vehicle. Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 21, an accident occurred on Harrington Road in Bristol involving Kelsey A. Walker, 23, of Bristol. Walker was operating her 2005 Toyota Avalon eastbound when she entered the eastbound ditch and struck a telephone pole. Sgt. Dennison was the investigating officer.
