The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Feb. 28 to March 12:
Jeremy Griffin, 28, Waldoboro, warrant, Feb. 28.
Tony Thurman, 52, Waldoboro, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, March 1.
Travis Brewer, 30, Nobleboro, failure to show proof of insurance, March 4.
Hannah Carter, 19, Waldoboro, failure to show proof of insurance, March 6.
Chynna Wentworth, 29, Warren, failure to show proof of insurance, March 5.
March 2: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 12:30 p.m. Richard Mogel, 83, of Thomaston, was driving a 2003 Toyota utility vehicle. Gabrielle Hillyer was driving a 2010 Honda utility vehicle. Mogel pulled out onto Atlantic Highway from the Irving store and did not yield the right of way to the oncoming Hillyer vehicle, which was southbound on Atlantic Highway.
March 5: Officer Nathaniel Jack investigated an accident at the intersection of Atlantic Highway and Washington Road at 12:20 p.m. Chynna Wentworth, 29, of Warren, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet sedan east. Gabriel Gore, 42, of Appleton, was driving a 2012 Toyota pickup south on Atlantic Highway. Wentworth did not yield the right of way to Gore, who was making a left turn on a green arrow.
March 7: Officer Jack investigated an accident on Dutch Neck Road at 9 a.m. Jake Pedreira, 17, of Thomaston, was driving a 2004 Volvo sedan east, going over the speed limit, which caused him to lose control and go off the road.
March 11: Officer Dwight Jones investigated an accident on Jefferson Street at 5:40 a.m. Aryn Ducharme, 20, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2008 Ford sedan south. Ducharme hit a patch of ice while negotiating a curve and lost control of the vehicle, which struck a telephone pole on the left side of the road and came to rest 100 feet from the pole.
March 5: Officer Jack investigated a report of a theft of 40 bales of hay.
Officers responded to 205 calls for service.
