The Boothbay Region Refuse Disposal District is accepting sealed bids for the following items that are surplus property. Both items are being sold as-is, where-is, and may be seen at the Boothbay Transfer Station during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
Bids must be in a sealed envelope and delivered in person or by mail to BRRDD, ATTN William Johnson Manager, PO Box 105, Boothbay, Me 04537. Bids must be received no later than April 24,2026 at noon.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at noon on April 24, 2026 at the Boothbay Transfer Station.
BRRDD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
If the bid is accepted, the winning bidder will have (3) business days to make payment in full to BRRDD. The winning bidder must take possession of the items within (10) business days after payment.
Items for bid
• An 8’ x 16’ shed which has 2 windows in the end and a 12’ wide garage door in front. Lightly used and only a little over 1 year old. Minimum bid $2500.00
• 60 solar panels, type CS6P-225w, 15.3 Kilowatts (DC).
Also includes 2 Fronius IG 7.5 inverters. Approximately 12 years old. Minimum bid $1000.00
