The Lincoln Academy Sophomore-Junior Family Night has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the LA Dining Commons. This meeting will focus on post-secondary education information as the college application process is quite detailed and complex.
A panel of six college admissions personnel, including representatives from Bowdoin College, Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, Central Maine Community College, University College Rockland, the University of Maine, and the University of New England will be there to talk about the process and to answer any questions that one may have.
This year is important for juniors, particularly as they plan for the future, and school personnel will work closely with them in developing a plan that is appropriate. It is also a good time for sophomores to begin thinking about life after high school. It is recognized that not everyone will be going on to college, and people are available to work individually with students developing other plans.
