On Monday, April 9, Maia Zewert, marketing and engagement coordinator at The Lincoln County News, visited Lincoln Academy’s Yearbook and Communications class to talk about journalism, changing media, and her career as a reporter.
Students asked questions about what it is like to be a newspaper reporter, how The Lincoln County News makes choices about story placement, and the importance of a newspaper in a small town. The class is planning a tour of the printing facility at the LCN later in the school year.
