Principal’s message
By Tom Soule
What great news! In the very near future (this year), we will have a full-time school nurse. I am thrilled to announce that our current school nurse, Kendra Anderson, will be our full-time school nurse. Congratulations to her — and us!
Parent-teacher conferences are just around the corner – Wednesday and Thursday, April 11 and 12. I hope everyone has a chance to sign up and visit with their child’s teacher. While that is going on, one can take advantage of the book fair in the library, a great chance for getting those wonderful books for summer reading.
Thursday, April 12 is picture day. Get ready to smile!
PTA
The next PTA meeting will be Tuesday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room. Remember to send Box Tops in and label them with the child’s homeroom teacher. There is a reward for the class who brings in the most at the end of the year.

Tech time
This week, both the kindergarten students and the first-graders used Kindles during technology time.
Third-graders learned about the online MEA format in preparation for MEA testing that will take place next week. The week before vacation will be used for makeup testing for students in grades three through five.
