Adriane Berry won the high jump (4’10”) and the 300 hurdles in 56.7, and Alex Smelcer won the 400 in 57 seconds in Wiscasset’s home track meet on May 13. Smelcer also placed 3rd in the 800 in 2:19.
Crysta Brown took second in the racewalk in 10:50, third in the 3200 in 15:41 and fifth in the 1600 in 6:52. Morgan Dodge was fourth in the 100 in 15.03 and 200 in 31.6.
Boothbay girls edged Winthrop by a point 91-90 for first place, Jay 84, Livermore 49 and Wiscasset 33.
Joe Chapman was second in the long jump (17’6″), third in the 200 in 25.6 and fourth in the 100 in 17.2. Dan Casey was second in the shot put (36’2.5″). Kyle Shute was third in the racewalk in 9:46. John McLeod was third in the 100 in 11.9. Brad Whitaker was third in the 300 in 1:06. Ross Hanley was third in the triple jump (33’10.25″). Ryan Urquhart was fourth in the 1600 in 5:30. Gage Mumbower was fifth in the 300 hurdles in 51.2.
Boothbay won with 127 points, Winthrop 92, Livermore 82, Wiscasset 53 and Jay 7.
