The top seed Diamondbacks defeated third ranked Fillies 15-0 on Tues., June 11 to win the Medomak Valley Little League softball championship. The Diamondbacks finish the year at 13-0 and successfully defended their 2018 title.
Kytana Williamons, came one walk away from pitching a perfect game with 11 strikeouts and no hits. Grace Barbour was the Fillies’ only base runner when she drew a first-inning walk.
Hitting for the Diamondbacks were Mason and Williamson with two singles each, and Pelkey, Nichols, McCollett and Dinsmore a single each.
