Dodge Point Public Reserved Lands got a facelift in the past two weeks. The popular trails on Dodge Point are some of the most heavily used in Lincoln County.
A field team from the Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) and AmeriCorps volunteers have been busy revamping the entire trail system.
MCC built stone steps, trimmed bushes, built bog bridges and made benches. Stepping stones were put in place in wet places on the Ravine trail and stone steps were built to the middle beach. Bushes and trees have been trimmed on the Riverlink Trail.
