The Lincoln County Eagle high school football team defeated Kenduskeag 51-8 on Saturday to improve their record to 6-0. Coach Gary Gravel said his offensive line played well, controlling their defense, which allowed the Eagles to move the ball. The defense was led by Shane Butterfield and Joel O’Donnell.
Chris Tilas scored two touchdowns. He ran eight carries for 98 yards, ran back five punt returns for 88 yards, and had a 40-yard pass reception thrown to Colby Wadleigh for a touchdown.
Stefan Nicholls had 67 rushing yards and one TD, and 42 receiving yards. Travis Creamer ran for 56 yards and had three touchdown runs. Spencer Alden scored his first career points with a two-point conversion on a two-yard pass from Creamer.
The Eagles travel to China on Saturday to take on the Blue Eagles at 7 p.m. They play home at Great Salt Bay School on Sat., Oct. 29 at noon.
