The Eagles and the Panthers opened their indoor track season Dec. 23 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. Waterville boys and girls won the KVAC opener.
Lincoln Academy’s Teiga Martin placed second in the 400 in 1:06. Nick Smelcer placed seventh in two events: the mile in 5:12 and the two-mile in 11:29.
Lincoln boys placed third in the 4×800 relay in 9:46, and fifth in the 4×200 relay in 1:49.
Medomak girls placed fifth in the 4×200 relay in 1:59. Desiree Leary was fourth in the high jump (4’8″). Maria Ennamorati took fifth in the long jump (13′-9.25″). Julia Ennamorati placed sixth in the triple jump (27′-11.5″). Amanda Young took seventh in the 55 dash in 8.13.
Medomak girls placed seventh and Lincoln eighth. Lincoln boys placed seventh and Medomak ninth.
