Lincoln Academy boys’ basketball team picked up a pair of wins this week to improve their record to 2-2. The Eagles defeated Oak Hill 64-32 in front of their home town crowd in Newcastle Friday night to notch their first win of the season. Lincoln then picked up a win on the road at Rockland Tuesday night, 55-39.
Scoring for the Eagles were Marin with a career high 22 points (9R,1B,2A,1S), Stephen Quinlan 12 (4A,1S), Jalen Lincoln 6 (6R,2S), Kyle Scherer 4 (6R,2S,2A), Brandon Reilly 4 (4R,2S,2A,1B), Nic Phinney 4 and Ryley Leavitt 3 (7R,1B). Scoring for Rockland were Sam Meklin 10, Ryan Ecker 9, Isaiah Stone-Patterson 6, Dave Harrison 5, Derek Miller 2, Ben Staples 2, Donald Prescott 2, Shea Davenport 2 and Bronson Philbrick 1.
Lincoln out scored Oak Hill 20-6 in the second frame to put the game away by halftime, 40-14. Brandon Reilly led the first-half charge scoring 14 of his 16 points. Reilly, Stephen Quinland and Jalen Lincoln hit three straight three-pointers in the second period. Lincoln held a 30-23 advantage on the boards.

Scoring for Oak Hill were Cameron Morin 7 (7S,4R), Sam Morin 6, Parker Asselin 4, Trevor Samson 4 (4S,2R), Eric Lapointe 3, Luke Washburn 2, Jamiel Kidd 2 and Cody Provost 1 (5R).
