Tryouts for fall sports at will begin Monday, Aug. 19 for Medomak Valley High School and Monday, Aug. 26 for Medomak Middle School.

Medomak Valley High School
Cross-country: George Gould, 215-9729 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Runners will meet by the track from 6-7:15 p.m. Monday-Friday until school begins.
Golf: Kevin Richardson, 860-803-6094 or email@example.com. Athletes will meet at Rockland Golf Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Appropriate attire is required.
Fall cheering: Heather Simmons, 691-5151 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Cheerleaders will meet Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 4-6 p.m. in front of the gym.
Girls soccer: Bri Morrill, 240-2164 or email@example.com. Girls will meet on the Medomak Middle School soccer field at 5:30 p.m. Preseason practices will run from 5:30-7:30. Girls should bring cleats, sneakers, mouthguards, and shinguards to each preseason practice.
Boys soccer: Brian Campbell, 215-3111 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Boys will meet on the MVHS baseball field at 5:30 p.m. Practices will run from 5:30-7:30. Cleats, sneakers, mouthguards, and shinguards are required.

Medomak Middle School

Practices for boys and girls soccer begin Monday, Aug. 26. Athletes will meet on the Medomak Middle School soccer field at 4 p.m. Week one practices will run Monday-Friday from 4-6. Actual tryouts will be Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Thursday, Aug. 29.
Cross-country: Lorraine Knight, firstname.lastname@example.org or 236-0398. Girls and boys cross-country begins Tuesday, Aug. 27. Athletes will meet in front of the school. Week one practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-4:30 p.m.
All Medomak Middle School and Medomak Valley High School athletes must return a completed sports participation approval form, along with proof of sports physical and health insurance, before or on the first day. The form can be downloaded at msad40.org under “Athletics,” then “Forms.” Parents can turn in paperwork at the main offices, fax to the attention of the athletic director at 832-2280, or hand it in on the first date.
Each athlete should come to practice in the appropriate clothing and footwear. Athletes should be prepared for hot conditions and bring plenty of water or sports drinks. Soccer players are required to wear mouthguards and shinguards.
