Youth travel team is for girls in grades 2-6 for the Bristol, South Bristol, Bremen, Damariscotta, Newcastle and Nobleboro areas.
Practices are Tuesdays from 5-6 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay School field, and games will be Saturdays or Sundays throughout the fall field hockey season. There will be games with other area teams.
Registration for the fall travel team is $10, which covers equipment needed to make a field hockey program happen. Scholarships are available upon request.
Players need sneakers or cleats, comfortable playing clothes, and hair pulled back away from the face.
Mouth guards are required and can be purchased from Cheryl for $1.
Loaner sticks and shin guards are available for those who do not have their own, but may not be taken home. Sticks, balls, shin guards, etc. may be purchased at low cost from Cheryl.
