Medomak Valley Land Trust opened a new trail system at Geele Farms in Waldoboro July 22. The trails are well groomed and blazed in blue. Three miles of trail extend on both sides of Gross Neck Road.
The west side follows the West Branch of the Medomak River, along a salt marsh to an old dam site. The trail on the east side of the Gross Neck Road goes down to the scenic Eastern Branch of Broad Cove on the Medomak River.
