Lincoln Academy and Wiscasset swimmers lost to Brunswick and Mt. Ararat on Jan. 6 in Brunswick.
Tim George won the 200 free in 1:57 and 100 free in 51.64, Rachel Hanley won the 50 free in 27.1 and 100 breast in a school record time of 1:16, and Dre Kuhnel won the 200 IM in 2:21 and was second in the 100 free in 54.9 for Wiscasset, and Valeska Vaughan won the 100 back in 1:18 and was second in the 100 fly in 1:15 for Lincoln.
Wiscasset boys won the 200-medley relay in 1:52 with Khunel, George, Ross Hanley, and John McLeod and placed second in the 200 free relay in 1:39 with Kuhnel, George and Brandon and Brian Campbell. McLeod took second in the 50 free in 24.85 and third in the 100 fly in 1:01. Hanley took second in the 500 free in 5:51. Brain Campbell was fifth in the 100 fly in 1:14 and fourth in the 100 breast.
Lincoln boys were fourth in the 400 free in 5:01 with Peter Huntington, Zach Merritt, Richard Gerrity and Steven Severance and fifth in the 200 free relay in 1:57 with Huntington, Matthew Merritt, Luca Keusguerian and Steven Severance.
Huntington was third in the 100 free and second in the 200IM in 2:33. Keushguerian was third in the 200 back in 1:31. Severance placed third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 free, in 2:40. Julian Howard was fifth in the 50 free, Gerrity sixth in the 100 back, and M. Merritt sixth in the 200 IM and 100 fly.
Lincoln girls won the 200-medley relay in 2:18 with Holly Martin, Olivia Delisle, Vaughan, and Julia Tichey won the 400 free relay in 4:48 with Tichey, Martin, Allison Fisher and Katie Jackson, and were third in the 200 free relay with Vaughan, Miller, MacDonald and Delisle.
Delisle took second in the 50 free in 29.07 and 100 breast in 1:23. Tichey was second in the 200 free in 2:29. Fisher was third in the 200 free in 2:29 and fifth in the 100 back in 1:32. Kelsea Miller placed third in the 100 free in 1:15. Caroline MacDonald was fourth in the 100 fly in 1:32 and fifth in the 100 breast in 1:38. Martin was fifth in the 100 free in 1:32 and sixth in the 200 IM in 3:13. Jackson was fifth in the 200 IM in 3:05, and Anna Lee sixth in the 50 free.
