Boys’ teams from Lincoln Academy and Medomak Valley competed in the State Class B cross country championships, at Twin Brook Recreation in Cumberland on Sat., Oct. 29. Lincoln boys placed 10th and Medomak 16th.
Falmouth was the team winner with 64 points. Silas Eastman of Fryeburg is the State Class B champion in a time of 16:14, beating nearest competitor Tim Follo of Falmouth by 18 seconds.
Will Hadden led the Eagles, placing 37th in 18:17. Rounding out the scoring five were 49. Nick Smelcer, 18:34; 58. Alex Tomasello, 18:46; 96. Josh Richards, 20:07, and 98. Julian Frink, 20:13. Also competing for the Eagles were 106. Nathan Osborne, 20:49; and 111. Tim Wells, 21:38.
Mason Vermilion led the Panthers, placing 31st in 18:04. Also competing were: 75. Ivan Johnson, 19:21; 91. Gavin Felch, 20:00; 103. Taylor Packard, 20:34; 110. Alexander Casas, 21:33; 116. Kyle Baubonis, 21:51; and 117. Lance Parker, 22:45.
