Hervochon Construction completed their perfect season on Sunday with a 2-1 win over South of the Border to win the Waldoboro Co-ed Softball League championships.
Randy Maloney Jr. scored in the first inning to give South of the Border a 1-0 lead. After going three up and three down over the first three innings, Hervochon scored two runs in the fourth inning. Kyle Feltis and Troy Sawyer hit singles and Feltis and pinch runner Chris McKinney scored on an Eric Gimble hit.
Troy Sawyer pitched the win for Hervochon’s. Ryan Parlin, Matt Lash, and Kevin Feltis also had hits for Hervochon’s. South of the Border left four baserunners stranded, including two in the sixth inning.
