Jordan Friedland beat Will Valutin in three sets, 6-1,1-6,6-0. Cameron Blake topped Pierre Haugen 6-2,6-1. Abe Hamilton defeated Casey Scott in a “really hard battle,” coach Blake said. Hamilton won in a come from behind effort in three sets, 5-7,6-3,6-2.
Alex Hadik and Chauncey Devin lost 0-6,1-6 to John Vannorsda and Evan Drinkwater. Brandon Blake and Daniel Mayer fell 6-7,3-6 to Andrew Beauehesau and Robin Crandelle.
The Eagles are the defending KVAC champions, and have won the title three out of the last four years.
