Lincoln Academy girls soccer team opened their KVAC season with a 4-1 win over Gardiner in the Eagles nest on Sept. 5. Ksenya Williams scored the first goal on a breakaway off the opening pass. Tatum Hancock added two goals and Grace Houghton one. Ammelia Lunt scored for Gardiner on a first half penalty kick.
Sandra Thelander made seven saves in net for the Eagles and Gabby Lunt 16 for the Tigers.
