Lincoln Academy girls’ basketball team has lost their last three games, dropping their record to 2-5. The Lady Eagles traveled to Winslow Tuesday night and came home with a 32-58 loss. The Black Raiders jumped out to a 19-4 first quarter lead, then coasted to victory.
“I feel bad for these kids. The seniors all through their career have not won a playoff game. They’re good kids and they try. I guess you can’t ask for more than that,” coach Conrad Lewis said.
Scoring for the Eagles were Laura Soohey 18, Anna Budrow 5, Katherine Bolster 4, Kelsey Schwarz 3 and Marni Jones 2. Scoring for Winslow were Kelsey Bouchard 13, Liz Ferry 11, Mariah Chenard 10, Alliyah Veilleux 8, Lynsey Vigue 4, Kaylee Constable 3, Marisa Weed 3, Erica Bertolaccini 2 and Megan Richards 2.
Scoring for the Eagles were Katherine Bolster 10, Marni Jones 7, Laura Soohey 6 and Anna Budrow 2. Scoring for the Mustangs were Channing Murphy 14, Hayley Kein 9, Delaney Kein 6, Chrissy Larrabee 4, Anna Piotti 2 and Leanne Larrabee 1.
