Lincoln Academy girls’ basketball team came from behind to beat Camden Hills 58-55 Friday night in Newcastle. The Lady Eagles struggled at the foul line all night, but when the game was on the line, Lincoln struck gold at the charity stripe, sinking six of eight shots with under a minute to play. With the win the Eagles improve to 6-7.
The game was nip and tuck from the beginning. Lincoln led 13-11 at the quarter, 25-23 at the half and 39-38 at the end of three. The Eagles trailed by six midway through the fourth quarter.
