Lincoln Academy girls’ swim team clipped the Purple Panthers Friday night 66-53 in Wiscasset to remain undefeated.
Kara Mullin won the 50 free in 26.73 and the 500 free in 5:55. Heidi Ziegra won the 100 fly in 1:08 the 200 free in 2:10. Gretchen Konitzky won the 100 free in 1:02 and was second in the 50 free in 27.73. Olivia Pennington won the 100 back in 1:09 and was second in the 100 free in 1:02. Rowan Carroll-Christopher was second in the 100 breast in 1:37. Carolyn MacDonald was second in the 200 IM in 2:57 and fourth in the 100 back in 1:21. Miranda Boe was fourth in the 200 free in 2:54.
The Lady Eagles won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:54 with Konitzky, MacDonald, Ziegra and Mullin, and the 400 free relay in 4:06 with Konitzky, Pennington, Mullin and Ziegra. They placed third in the 200 medley relay in 2:30 with MacDonald, C-Christopher, Holly Stegna and Emily Whitaker.
Wiscasset girls placed second in the 200 medley relay in 2:30 with Abby Foster, Julia West, Sarah Hanley and Maeve Carlson, and third in the 200 free relay in 2:18 with Alyssa Urguhart, West, Foster and Carlson.
West took second in the 100 back in 1:16 and fourth in the 50 free in 29.38. Urquhart was third in the 100 breast in 1:55 and sixth in the 200 free in 3:14. Hanley was fourth in the 500 free in 6:49. Carlson was fifth in the 200 free in 2:55 and 100 free in 1:17. Foster placed sixth in the 50 free in 36.09 and the 100 free in 1:23.
Will Hadden picked up a pair of wins for Lincoln Academy boys, winning the 50 free in 24.04 and the 500 free in 5:33. Griffin Han-Lalime took third in the 100 fly in 1:15. Jason Berry placed third in the 100 free in 1:08. Tyler Abbotoni was fourth in the 50 free in 34.78 and 100 free in 1:17. Forrest Meader was fourth in the 100 back in 1:34. Matt Poland took fifth in the 100 free in 1:22 and 100 back in 1:51.
Matt Mills placed second for Wiscasset in the 200 breast in 1:20 and third in the 200 free in 2:37. Ryan Hanley was second in the 100 back in 1:04 and third in the 500 free in 5:50. Kyle Viele was fifth in the 50 free in 40.67 and sixth in the 100 free in 1:29.
Lincoln boys lost to Waterville 68-20.
