Medomak went to work in the bottom of the 7th when Alanna Vose hit a one out single to left. With two outs, Heidi Obuchon hit a single to right field that Raider outfielder Becca Tucci made a diving stab at. Vose came around and scored on the hit for the game winner.
Kayla Santheson collected the win (4K,6H,1B) and Lauren Hall took the loss (8K,10H,1B).
Both pitchers helped their own cause in the 1st inning. Hall singled in Sarah Albert to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st. Santheson singled in Conary in the bottom of the inning to tie the score.
Hitting for Medomak were Santheson and Vose with two each, Vanessa Davis a triple, Conary a double and Kasey Benner, Lindsay Ranquist, Obuchon and Ericka Christensen a single each. Hitting for Oak Hill were Hall, Priest and Julia Applebee with two each.
Alanna Vose and Santheson reached on errors and scored on a Lindsey Ranquist double in the 1st inning. They added three in the 2nd. Ericka Christensen and Heidi Obuchon singled, Amanda Hendrickson hit a sacrifice to set up an RBI single to Mallory Conary and RBI double to Santheson. Christensen scored on a passed ball.
Camden scored their lone run on an RBI single to Iva Hinke in the 6th inning.
Hitting for Medomak were Ranquist with a double and single, Santheson a double and Conary, Christensen, Obuchon and Elise Wallace a single each. Hitting for Camden were LeGage, Kiley Carson and Iva Hinke with a single each.
Camden loaded up the bases in the 6th inning. Vanessa Davis threw a runner out at 3rd for the biggest defensive play of the game.
Medomak jumped out to a 2-0 lead. They scored one run in the 1st inning when Santheson reached on an error, advanced on a Kasey Benner error and scored on a Lindsay Ranquist single to left. The Panthers added a run in the top of the 5th when Mallory Conary hit a triple to right and scored when Santheson reached on an error.
Nokomis plated three runs in the bottom of the 5th to take the lead. Sabrina Vaillencourt hit an RBI triple, Heidi Wyman an RBI fielder’s choice and Keri Mayo an RBI error.
The Lady Panthers put their rally caps into overdrive in the top of the 7th. “It got really ugly,” coach Richard Vannah said. Medomak took advantage of four walks, three hits, two errors and numerous fielder’s choices and sacrifices in the rally.
Santheson and Benner walked to set up an RBI single from Ranquist. Alanna Vose walked to load up the bases for an RBI error to Jessica Koon, RBI walks to Jenna Tracy and Ericka Christensen, RBI fielder’s choice to Vanessa Davis, RBI bunt single to Conary, a two run single to Benner, an RBI sacrifice fly to Ranquist and an RBI single to Vose.
Hitting for Medomak were Conary a triple and single, Davis, Ranquist and Vose two hits each, and Benner, Heidi Obuchon and Christensen one each. Hitting for Nokomis were Vaillencourt, Mayo, Jess Kentwebber, Taylor Lovely and Megan Perry a single each.
