Lincoln Academy senior Heidi Zeigra was named 2014 Outstanding Female Swimmer of the KVAC championship meet. Zeigra won two events Friday night at the KVAC Class B championships held at Bath YMCA. Zeigra broke two Lincoln Academy records in her wins in the 200 IM in 2:23.04, and the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.71.
Camden’s Mark McCluskey was named KVAC male swimmer of the meet.
Lincoln Academy girls placed fourth , and the boys sixth. Camden girls won and Morse boys won the KVAC team championships.
An earlier edition of this story incorrectly stated Zeigra and McCluskey were named swimmers of the year. The Lincoln County News regrets the error.
