Lincoln Academy’s golf team qualified for the State team championships at the KVAC State Qualifier at Natanis on Tuesday. The state team championship will be held Oct. 12 at Natanis in Vassalboro. Seward Matel qualified for the State Individual Championships to be held Oct. 19 at Natanis.
The top five KVAC teams qualified for states. Camden Hills won the KVAC championship with a 313, and MCI 320, Erskine Academy 349, Maranacook 357 and Lincoln Academy 360 qualified for state team championships.
Seward Matel qualified for states with an 81. Bailey Plourde (who qualified for the girls state meet a week ago) shot an 87, Austin Armstrong shot 103, Liam Brinkler 89, Sammie Zaidi 107 and Dan Hatch 112.
Medomak Valley golf shot a 436. Adam Wilcox shot 128, Tyler Emerson 111, Aaron Smeltzer 108, Cam Allaire 104, and JP Lobley 113.
