Lincoln Academy boys swam to victory Friday night in a tri-meet with Boothbay and Edward Little. The Eagles scored 35, the Seahawks 29, and the Eddies 23.
The Eagles won 200 free relay in 1:53 with Whitman Vaughan, Nathan Osborne, Billy Seaman, and Camden Gulden swimming a leg, and placed second in the 200 medley relay in 2:21 with the same four swimmers.
Gulden won the 100 fly in 1:10 and took second in the 100 breast in 1:14. Vaughan won the 50 free in 27.18 and was second in the 200 free in 2:15. Seaman took second in the 100 back in 1:28 and fourth in the 200 free in 2:48. Sammy Zaidi placed second in the 500 free in 9:34. Theo Seidel placed third in the 50 free in 31.86 and fourth in the 100 free in 1:21. Abe Steinberger was third in the 100 free and Osborne third in the 100 back in 1:37.
Highlights for Boothbay include a win in the 200 medley relay in 2:20 with Vincente Haro, Karl Alamo, Austin Crocker, and Brad Tibbetts. Alamo won two races, the 200IM in 2:43 and the 100 back in 1:18, and Tibbetts won the 100 breast in 1:13.
Lincoln girls won two relays, the 200 free in 1:59 with Kate Laemmle, Elise Dumont, Essie Martin, and Heidi Zeigra, and the 400 free in 4:32 with E. Martin, Rowan Carroll-Christopher, Teiga Martin, and Zeigra. They placed third in the 200 medley relay in 2:26 with Cassie Leeman, Dumont, Laemmle, and C-Christopher.
Zeigra won the 200 free in 2:18 and placed second in the 50 free in 27.83. E. Martin took second in two events, the 200 free in 2:31 and the 100 fly in 1:25. Laemmle was second in the 200 IM in 3:01. T. Martin was second in the 500 free in 7:38 and third in the 200 IM in 3:04. Dumont placed second in the 100 fly in 1:11 and fourth in the 50 free in 30.45. C-Christopher was third in the 100 back in 1:27. Thalia Eddyblouin placed fourth in the 100 back in 1:41 and Shelly Xei fourth in the 100 breast in 1:52.
Nicole Labrecque won the 100 fly for Boothbay in 1:06.
