Lincoln Academy won the Camden Hills Invitational Cross Country meet on Oct. 8. The Eagles placed five scoring runners in the top 13 to score 44 points. Medomak Valley was second with 57 points, Camden 97, Belfast 111, and Morse 139.
North Haven’s Charlie Jones won the race in 17:46. Panther Nick Anderson took second in 18:44. Lincoln’s Luca Keushguerian led the Eagles with a 3rd place finish in 19:21. Will Hadden placed 6th in 19:45; Nick Smelcer 10th in 19:58; Alex Tomasello 12th in 20:06; and Shawn Grooms 13th in 20:07 to complete the scoring five.

Gwen Moiles led the Panthers with a fifth place finish in 21:38. Alyssa Griggs was 12th in 22:43, Jocelyn Thames 14th in 23:01; Heidi Harris 15th in 23:10 and Jordan Hopkins 17th in 23:32 to complete the scoring five. Also running for Medomak were: 21. Lincoln had just four runners, so did not compile a team score. Hannah Fake placed 8th in 23:30 and Tiega Martin 9th in 22:32. Katrina Belle was 19th in 24:09, and Phoebe Arnold 36th in 26:40.
