Lincoln Academy boys basketball team picked up their first win of the season, 67-58 over Morse, on Jan. 12 in the Eagles nest. The Eagles went with their long ball in first half action, settling 10 3-pointers. They added one long ball in the second half for a total of 11 in the game.
Lincoln led 18-13 at the quarter, 39-26 at the half and 47-42 at the end of three. The Eagles led from the opening basket from Keyden Leeman.
Lincoln was led by Leeman with 24 points (6-3’s), Nate Simmons 13 (3-3’s), Joel Hatch 12 and Bryce York 10 (2-3’s). Morse was led by Parker Onorato 19 (4-3’s), Tyrjek Foster 14 and Lucas Osgterhoot 11.
