The Lincoln County Football Eagles 7-8th grade team is set to begin another year of football action. Last year the Eagles finished with a winning record and recorded an exciting overtime playoff victory against Oak Hill.
This year, the season begins on Sept. 10 with a scrimmage game. The regular season begins on Sept. 17 against Brunswick. Players of all experience levels are welcome to play. The Eagles play their home games at the Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta on Saturday mornings.
Anyone interested in playing this year, please sign up at Supplies Unlimited in Damariscotta anytime in August. Practices begin on Aug. 15.

In addition, LCF fields a Pee Wee division team (grades 1-3), MYFL division teams (grades 4-6), and a High School division team (grades 9-10). Call Jane Oliver-Gravel at Supplies Unlimited for more information.
The High School Eagle team will be playing in a new league this year with a nine game schedule. They will play six games on their home field at Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta. Practices started Aug. 1, but it is not to late to play. Contact Gary Gravel at 380-6114. The Eagles practice Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 5-7 p.m.
The grade 9-12 Eagles play home on Sept. 3 (1 p.m.), Sept. 17 (1 p.m.), Sept 24 (1 p.m.), Oct. 1 (no time set), Oct. 22 (7 p.m.), and Oct. 29 (1 p.m.)
