Lincoln Academy softball defeated Waterville 9-1 on May 12 in Newcastle. Kortney McKenna struck out seven in the win. Clowes took the loss for the Purple Panthers. Cagney O’Brien, McKenna, Christine Hilton and Kloe Poland had two hits each for the Eagles. Clowes had two hits for Waterville.
