The 2nd annual Matthew Budrow Memorial Basketball Tournament will be held on Sat., Nov. 21 in the Bailey Gymnasium at Lincoln Academy. Budrow was a popular athlete and coach at Lincoln Academy. He was killed in a snowmobile accident in 2008.
Participating teams include Lincoln Academy boys and girls, Wiscasset boys and girls, Brunswick girls, Medomak girls and Erskine Academy boys. Admission is $4 for an all day pass. The concession stand will be open all day. Tournament t-shirts are available for a $15 donation to the Budrow Scholarship fund.
The schedule of the tournament is as follows:
Game 1 – 9 a.m., Lincoln vs. Wiscasset girls
Game 2 – 10:30 a.m., Lincoln vs. Wiscasset boys
Game 3 – 12:30 p.m. Medomak vs. Wiscasset girls
Game 4 – 2 p.m., Wiscasset vs. Erskine boys
Game 5 – 4 p.m., Medomak vs. Brunswick girls
Game 6 – 5:30 p.m., Lincoln vs. Erskine boys
Game 7 – 7:15 p.m., Lincoln vs. Brunswick girls
