Medomak Valley boys basketball team out scored Gardiner 28-4 in the fourth quarter to beat the Tigers 66-59 Thursday night in Gardiner. The Panthers trailed by 17 going into the final period. “We just started to play. We just stepped it up. We made some big steals and some big shots. It all just came together,” coach Nick DePatsy commented.
Scoring leaders for the Panthers were Nicholas DePatsy 25, Micah Williamson 16 and Colton Spear 9. The three Panthers combined for 26 of their 28 points in the pivotal fourth period. Gardiner was led by McFarland 20, Weymouth 12, Lapointe 10
