The Lady Panthers picked up wins over Rockland, Camden and Oak Hill to improve their record to 15-2. Medomak hosts Lincoln Academy Thursday night and a win will earn them a berth in Saturday’s KVAC championships.
Alanna Vose scored all 20 of her season-high points in the second half, including going 8 for 8 at the foul line. Vose collected six assists as well. Medomak as a team went 13 for 15 at the foul line.
Also scoring for Medomak were Lindsay Ranquist 12 (7R), Nicole Weaver 9 (all in second half), Ericka Christensen 8 (8R), Roxanne Jelenfy 6, and Vanessa Davis 3. Medomak sank five 3-pointers in the win, two from Vose and one each from Davis, Weaver and Ranquist.
Scoring for Oak Hill were Maggie Sabine 13, Abbie Goulet 9 (3-3’s), Jessica Roberts 6, Chassidy Hilchey 4 and Darby Beaulieu 2.
Medomak dominated every aspect of the game. They held a 31-16 edge in rebounding, forced 29 turnovers and only surrendered seven baskets the entire game. And they did it all without 6’2″ senior Ericka Christensen.

Mallory Robbins had 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Scoring for Rockland were Emma Spencer 10, Hannah Plourde 7 (7R,2B), Brooke Dugan 5, Casey Carroll 4 and Phoebe Ferraiolo 2.
The Lady Panthers picked up their third straight win Friday night, beating Camden 56-35 in Waldoboro. Medomak got off to a slow start, before pulling away from the Windjammers in the third period. The two teams were tied 10-10 at the quarter, and Medomak led 25-19 at the half.
“Camden cut the lead to two early in the third. We pulled away from there,” coach Randy Hooper said. The Panthers outscored Camden 18-10 in the third period to boost their lead to 43-29 at the end of three.
