Fifth seed Medomak Valley softball sent Caribou packing on June 6 at Foster Field in Waldoboro. Gabby DePatsy and Addie Jameson combined on the mound in the 28-0 five inning mercy ruling win.
The Panthers smashed 20 hits in the lopsided contest, including two homeruns. Hitting for Medomak were A. Jameson with two triples, a double and two singles (6RBI), Abby Nelson a homerun and three singles (2RBI), Josie Jameson two doubles and a single (3RBI), Maddy White a double and two singles (4RBI), Lydia Simmons a homerun (3RBI), Hallie Kunesh two singles (3RBI), and Cassie Smeltzer a single.
Hitting for Caribou were Emily Adler with a double, and Kaytlin Waldemarson a single.
