Both the boys’ and girls’ Panther track and field teams won their home meet at Medomak Valley on May 5. Medomak girls scored 174.33 to beat out Camden 125.33, Rockland 125 and Lincoln 70.33. Medomak boys won with 208.5, Lincoln 91, Camden 90, Rockland 79, Isleboro 30.5, North Haven 14 and Georges Valley 8.
Ellen Tuttle won the racewalk in 10:26 and Shannon Staples was 5th in 11:01. Ashley Rackliff was 2nd in the 100 in 13.8 and 200 in 29.0.
Amanda Young took 2nd in the 100 in 13.8 and 3rd in the 200 in 29.2. Wallace was 2nd in the 400 in 1:06 and triple jump (29’1.75″) and 3rd in the long jump (13’7.5″). Jessica Prescott took 2nd in the discus (72’3″) and 3rd in shot (24’1″). Thames was 2nd in the 800 in 2:54, Wyllie 3rd in 3:01 and Brianna Gross 4th in 3:18.
Julie Ennamorati took 3rd in triple jump (29’1.75″), and 4th in the 100 in 14.2 and 200 in 30.1. Courtney McDonald tied for 3rd in the high jump (4′) with Carla White, and was 5th in the triple jump (21’6.5″). Desiree Leary was 5th in the high jump (3’10”). Abbie Vail was 3rd in the discus (71’1″). Leach placed 4th in the 400 in 1:08. Jen Brown placed 4th in the javelin (52’7″).
Laura Otterbein took 1st in the 300 hurdles in 56.3 and 2nd in the 110 hurdles in 18.6 for Lincoln. Teiga Martin won the 800 in 2:49 and was 4th in the 400 in 1:08.
Andrea Gemeinhardt was 2nd in the racewalk in 10:40. Hannah Fake was 3rd in the 100 hurdles in 18.91, and 4th in the 200 in 30.10 and 1600 in 6:17. Ploy Intarawut was 3rd in javelin (53’6″) and 6th in discus (59’10.5). Katie Moran placed 5th in the 1600 in 6:49 and 6th in the long jump (12’1″). Heidi Ziegra was 6th in the shot (22’8.5″).
The Lady Eagles placed 2nd in the 4×400 in 4:56 with Moran, Ziegra, Fake and Martin.
H-Belloguet won the triple jump (37’6.5″), was 2nd in the 200 in 24.2, and 4th in the 100 in 11.8. Nicholls won the long jump (15’2.75″), was 2nd in the 300 hurdles in 45.1 and 6th in the 200 in 26.3. Packard won the 800 in 2:26. Ian Rixon won the racewalk in 8:00 and was 6th in the 3200 in 12:15.
Mike Gilman won the shot (40’10.5″) and was 3rd in the discus (105’3″). Sproul tied for 2nd in the high jump (5′) with Justin Gilman and Nick Anderson, was 3rd in the 110 hurdles in 20.4 and 4th in the 400 in 58.2. Anderson also took 2nd in the 3200 in 11:10, 3rd in the 1600 in 5:12 and 4th in the javelin (114’5″).
Nelson Tolman was 2nd in the discus (109’10”). Michael Canfield took 2nd in the racewalk in 10:13. Deering Genthner was 2nd in the 100 in 11.4. Boone Olson placed 3rd in the triple jump (31’6.75″) and 5th in the high jump (4’8″).
Ivan Johnson took 4th in the 800 in 2:30. TJ Harriman was 4th in the 110 hurdles in 20.6 and 6th in javelin (104’4″). Yannick Price-Prevot was 4th in the shot (39′) and 5th in discus (91″). Quinton Vannah placed 5th in the long jump (12’9″) and 6th in the 400 in 59.8. Baubonis was 5th in the 800 in 2:33 Joe Murphy took 5th in the 3200 in 11:28. Dan Winchenbach placed 5th in the triple jump (29’9.25″).
Eagle Julian Frink tied for first in the 800 in 2:26. Alex Braley tied for 2nd in the javelin (119). Zach Orenstein was 2nd in the triple jump (31’8.5″), and 110 hurdles in 19.6, and 4th in the 300 hurdles in 49.8. Ben Conary placed 2nd in the 400 in 56.1, 3rd in the 200 in 24.9, and 5th in the 100 in 12.0.
Nick Smelcer was 3rd in the 3200 in 11:22 and 4th in the 1600 in 5:14. Josh Sullivan was 4th in the 200 in 25.7 and 5th in the 400 in 59.3. Jake Daly-O’Donnell was 4th in the long jump (14’2.5″).
The Eagles won the 4×400 relay in 4:11 with Orenstein, Kevin Sandefur, Tim Wells and Julian Frink, and were 2nd in the 4×800 relay in 10:05 with Frink, Wells, Sal Azzaretti and Josh Richards.
