The Midcoast Sports Hall of Fame will induct five new members during the sixth annual induction ceremony and banquet on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Rockland Elks Lodge. The 2013 inductees include Jill Young (Booth), Deane Deshon, Gary Heald, Ricky Jones and Tracie Littlefield (Martin).
Gary Heald graduated from Waldoboro High School where he played varsity baseball, basketball and cross country. After serving in the U.S. Army, he attended the University of Southern Maine where he played baseball and basketball.
