Medomak Valley’s golf team shot a team round of 155 on Tuesday to record their “lowest ever” score coach Peter Stuart said. “The guys are peaking right now. They are playing good golf right now,” Stuart added.
The Panthers finished their season with an 8-2 record, which Stuart believes is their best record ever. Medomak will play for the KVAC championship Thurs., Sept. 29 at Bath Country Club, starting at 2 p.m. The top four teams in the conference vie for the championship trophy.
Alex Greenrose and Wilcox shot their lowest scores of the season at the meet.
Adam Lynch lost to low medallist Jamie Jackson (36). Isaac Greenrose (45) fell to Tim Stitcht by three strokes. Alex Greenrose (42) defeated Tyle McDevitt by five strokes. Ryan Merrifield (58) squeaked out a one-stroke win over Logan Mitchell. Zach Judkins topped Grant Starrett by 20 strokes. Robbie Swan (65) lost to Allie Njaa (59).
Lynch (36) defeated Jim Lavin by 10 strokes. Isaac Greenrose (44) beat Dylan Davis (53). Alex Greenrose (43) topped Will Bolduc (55). Judkins (39) beat Sam Wehry (59). John Wilcox (44) defeated Lauren Hallenbeck (59). Ryan Merrifield (52) topped Molly Brown (72).
