Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team held off Oak Hill late in the fourth quarter to pick up their 13th win of the season. The Panthers wrap up their regular season on Feb. 10 home against Lincoln Academy.
The Raiders hit a couple of late three’s to keep the game interesting. John Murray and Isaac Greenrose connected at the foul line in the final 20 seconds to seal the win.
Medomak led 11-6 at the quarter, and 26-20 at the half, before Oak Hill out scored them 11-6 in the third to pull within one. The Panthers went up by nine then held off the Raiders at the foul line.
Scoring for the Panthers were Murray 10, Shane Osier 12 (7R), Alex Greenrose 8, Isaac Greenrose 7 (5A), Isaac Durkee 7 and Ryan Ripley 3. Scoring for Oak Hill were Cam Morin 7, Brian Bradstreet 6, Parker Asselin 6, Samson 6, Sam Morin 6, Cody Provost 6, J. Kidd 5, Lessard 2 and Washburn 2.
Medomak led 19-11 at the quarter, 34-22 at the half and 46-32 at the end of three. The only highlight of the game for the Tigers was a half court shot at the halftime buzzer from Isaiah Stone-Patterson. The Panthers took a double-digit lead for good at the start of the second period, when Isaac Greenrose hit back-to-back shots, including a 3-pointer.
The Tigers pulled within 11 in the third period. Medomak answered the threat with a nine point run. The Panthers kicked off the final period with a 13-2 run to boost their lead to 25.
The Panthers held a 37-22 advantage in rebounding, and netted 10 points off the boards.

Scoring for Rockland were Patterson 13, Ryan Ecker 7, Hunter Grindle 5 (4R,2B,2S), Sam Meklin 5 (5R,1B,2S), Dave Harrison 4, John Gerry 3, Ben Staples 2 and Raheem James 2.
Keegan Pieri was not eligible to play in the two teams’ first match-up, but was back Friday night, adding another weapon to Camden’s already loaded arsenal.
Camden sailed to a 34-10 first quarter lead, led 56-19 at the half and 67-32 at the end of three.
