Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team defeated Camden Hills 74-62 Tuesday night in Rockport. The last time the Panthers beat the Windjammers was during the 2006-07 season. The win was Medomak’s fourth straight and improves their record to 11-2.
John Murray returned after missing nine games with a knee injury. “He scored 15 points and had 8 rebounds in 13 minutes of play,” coach DePatsy said.
The Panthers led 20-12 at the quarter break and extended it to 43-27 at the half. They led 56-42 at the end of three then out-scored the Jammers 22-20 in a fast final period.
“Deering Genthner, Jonathan Hendrickson-Belloguet and Ryan Ripley all defended really well. They had some tough assignments,” coach Nick DePatsy said.
Scoring for Medomak were Isaac Greenrose 27, John Murray 15 (8R), Alex Greenrose 11 (4A), Shane Osier 10, Ripley 7, and Hendrickson-Belloguet 4, Zach Judkins had 6 rebounds. Scoring for Camden were Chandler Crans 15, Adam Carlson 14, Connor Hart 12, Taylor Hall 10, and Andrew Flanagan 3.
Scoring for Medomak were Isaac Greenrose 25 (8A), Shane Osier 18, Ryan Ripley 14 (8R), Alex Greenrose 6 (2-3’s), Zach Judkins 5, Robbie Griffin 2, Wil Dow 2, Kazu Tibbetts 2 and Jonathan Hendrickson-Belloguet 1. Scoring for Mt.View were Porter 15, Neally 10, Reynolds 10, St. Clair 6, Gibbs 6, and Babin and Rein 2 each.
