Penquis Valley defeated Boothbay Region boys’ basketball team 61-54 in the State Class C championships Saturday night in Bangor. Penquis tied the Class C 3-point record, with seven. The Patriots were led Isaiah Bess with 27, and Trevor Lyford with 20. Boothbay was led by Andrew Hallinan 16, Anthony DiMauro 15, John Hepburn 8, Lincoln Simmons 7, and Evan Hepburn 6.
