Lincoln Academy athletic director KJ Anastasio announces this week that long-time freshman basketball coach, Ryan Ball, has been hired as the new head boys basketball coach for the Eagles. Ball replaces Chris McKenney, who resigned from the position in March.
“I am extremely excited to have Ryan as our varsity basketball coach. He has excelled at every level he has coached, including varsity baseball. The basketball knowledge he possesses and knowing the kids in the program will lead him to great success. This is an exciting time for LA basketball,” Anastasio said.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to coach” at the varsity level. “We have the summer basketball program set. Chris had the program going in the right direction, with the summer camps and pee wee programs, which is very important,” Ball said.
