Waldoboro took a 2-0 lead in the 1st. With two outs, Ollie Brown and Brady Luce hit back-to-back doubles. Channing Soper followed with an RBI single, scoring Luce.
Lincoln got on the scoreboards in the 3rd with one run. Jon Pinkham hit a lead off double, stole third and scored on an RBI fielders’ choice from Baker Gove.
Waldoboro added three runs in the 3rd. Brown and Luce hit back-to-back homeruns. Adam Eustler singled and scored on a throwing error.
Lincoln County rallied in the top of the 6th, but fell short. Austin Bouchard reached on an error, Carter singled and Austin Pooler drove in a run on an error. Carter scored on a passed ball, and Pinkham scored pinch runner Hunter Allen on a fielders’ choice.
Hitting for Waldoboro were Brown and Luce with a homerun and double each, and Soper and A. Eustler a single each. Hitting for Lincoln were Pinkham with a double and Bouchard and Carter a single each.
Hitting for Waldoboro were Isaac Eustler with a double and single, Soper a grand slam homerun, McCollett a homerun, Owen Jameson a triple, Brown and A. Eustler a double each, and Nick Grover, Duncan Morrell and Patrick White a single each.
Knox jumped out to a 6-0 lead after three innings, highlighted by a three run homerun from Zach Davis. Waldoboro rallied for four in the top of the 4th. Patrick White beat out an infield single, Jacob Faria singled, Channing Soper drove in a run on a ground out, Brett Collamore drove in a run on an error, Adam Eustler walked, and Ollie Brown blasted a two run double.
Dallas Ball reached on an error and scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the 4th to put Knox up 7-4. Waldoboro rallied for four runs in the top of the 5th to take an 8-7 lead. Faria reached on fielder’s choice, and Nick Grover drove him in on an error. Collamore hit a bunt single, A. Eustler walked, Grover scored on a passed ball and Brown drove in a run on an error.
Knox tied the game in the bottom of the 5th when Colby Dorr singled and scored on a passed ball.
Dallas Ball collected the win (1 1/3I, 2K, 1H, 0R), Titus Gailthong started and pitched three shutout innings (3K, 1H), and Owen Hilt pitched middle relief (1 2/3I, 4B, 1K, 4H, 8R). Nick Grover started for Waldoboro (4I, 3K, 3B, 4H, 6R), and Brett Collamore took the loss in three innings in relief (2K, 1H, 1B, 3R).
